The Heart Behind Stoney Acres Breathwork
I know what it’s like to feel trapped in your own body, carrying patterns of trauma that no one taught you how to release let alone understand. I’ve been there—haunted by the past, stuck in cycles, and ignored by the systems that were supposed to help. For years, I carried weight I didn’t understand, tension and anger I didn’t know how to let go of, and a restless mind (thank you undiagnosed ADHD) that refused to quiet.
My journey into deep healing practices began by facing those struggles head-on. I learned how trauma settles in the body and how the nervous system reacts when it doesn’t feel safe (even when you don’t realize it). I also learned how to reclaim a sense of grounding and rebuild trust within myself. Breathwork, mindfulness, and movement became my tools—not as shortcuts, but as pathways to reconnect with myself in ways that were deeply profound, raw, and authentic.
Yoga teacher training paved the path and gave me the foundation I needed to begin my healing journey, but Breathwork, in particular, changed everything. In the first session I attended, I allowed myself to fully release. It was primal, intense, raw and completely cracked me open. I sobbed, shook, and felt the depth of what I was truly carrying with me. By leaning into the practice, I discovered what it means to confront your own patterns, to feel your body release what’s been stored for years, and to create space for the messy yet beautiful healing, making way for inner freedom. That experience led me to train formally, immersing myself fully in the work, connecting with others, and realizing that this is my calling: holding space for people to do their own healing, deeply and safely.
My approach is grounded in somatic understanding and lived experience. I guide clients with presence, insight, and compassion. I help them step into their own work without pressure or expectations about what healing ‘should’ look like. This isn’t about doing it “right” or reaching a destination—it’s about being with your body, your nervous system, and your subconscious as you uncover and release what’s been buried. Together, we create a space where you can feel, explore, and heal at your own pace.
I love the body. I love how our minds, emotions, and energy all intertwine. I'm learning how to slow down, notice the small things, and find joy in simple moments—a quiet forest, a warm cup of tea, snow drifting down. I’m loud, unfiltered, and unapologetically myself, and I want you to feel like you can take up space here too.
I guide, but YOU do the work. You’ll leave sessions with a deeper understanding of yourself and more connection to your mind and spirit’s wisdom. I don’t make promises or guarantees—this is hard, messy work. But it’s worth it. The results are as unique as you are, unfolding over time as your body, subconscious, and nervous system integrate the work.
When you’re ready to step into your healing journey, I’ll hold the space while you do the real work—facing what’s been buried, breaking patterns, and reconnecting with the deep sense of self that has always been inside you. But you have to make that choice, and you will when you’re ready. Healing isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s stripping away the trauma, the bullshit, and everything that never belonged to you so you can come home to yourself and remember the bright, badass little light that you truly are.
